Privacy & Terms

Hokkaido Blue is a personal site. It doesn't show ads, use affiliate links or send newsletters, and it doesn't set tracking cookies. Here is everything it does collect.

Privacy

• Visit statistics. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It works without cookies and doesn't identify you; I only see totals, such as which pages are read and roughly which countries visitors come from.
• Messages. The contact form is run by Tally. What you write there, usually your name, email address and message, is stored by Tally and sent to me so I can reply. I don't use it for anything else.
• Hosting. The site is hosted on Vercel and the photographs are served by Sanity. Like any web server, they see your IP address and browser details in order to deliver the pages.

I don't sell or share personal information. If you'd like a message you sent me deleted, just ask.

Using the photographs

The photographs and text on this site are by Xiaolong Li unless noted otherwise. You're welcome to download or copy them for personal, non-commercial use, as long as you link back to hokkaido.blue.

Anything beyond that, including redistribution, reproduction or derivative works, needs my written permission. The contact page explains licensing and the free allowance for personal and educational use.
