About Xiaolong Li
I first traveled to Hokkaido in 2019 and immediately fell in love with this remarkable place. The island's natural beauty, distinct seasons, and unique culture captivated me from the start.
After completing graduate school in Kyoto, I made the decision to move to Hokkaido permanently as a software engineer. During weekdays, I develop mobile applications that serve over 1 million users, but my true passion comes alive on weekends.
Saturday and Sunday find me exploring Hokkaido - driving scenic routes, hiking through pristine landscapes, fishing in crystal-clear waters, and capturing it all through photography. I especially enjoy discovering hidden onsen (hot springs) and driving through the island's diverse terrain.
